Elemental’s code of ethics

These are the principles that underly the standards we apply in our organisation

Respect for others

We will respect everyone we interact with.  We will be kind, polite and understanding. We will respect others’ personal space, opinions and privacy. If a member of staff or volunteer behaves inappropriately or outside of the ethos of Elemental they will undergo a review and if necessary a capability or disciplinary process.  If a participant of Elemental breaks the (Facebook) rules, is deemed to have behaved inappropriately or behaves outside of our code of ethics we reserve the right to remove them from the award without notice.

 

Integrity and honesty

We will all work together to achieve Elemental’s outcomes. Our behavior should contribute to our goals, whether financial or organisational. We will be honest and transparent in the way we work and the way we interact with others.

Lawfulness

We will seek to comply with all international, national, and local legislation affecting our operations. We will strive to follow the best practice in corporate governance. We will meet our tax obligations. We will not make any financial contributions or offer support to any political party.

Competence and accountability

We will take responsibility for our own actions and hold ourselves accountable to the roles we have in the organisation.  We will seek to continually review and improve our work and take opportunities to grow, learn and develop.

Teamwork

We value teamwork as well as independence.  We will be generous with our expertise and knowledge.  We will be open to learning from others and evolving. Each member of the team is valued and has a unique perspective and set of gifts to bring to Elemental.

Environment

We respect the environment and seek to minimise the negative impact our operations have on the environment.  We use ethical and sustainable suppliers wherever possible and strive to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible.

Safety Policy

 

Participants are responsible for their own health and safety throughout the award, unless they are attending an event or activity provided by Elemental Challenge Award CIC.  We expect participants to have, or gain, the required skills or knowledge to complete their challenges and to know what to do in an emergency.  We recommend seeking professional guidance if you are unsure of the skill level required.

 

Elemental Challenge Award CIC accepts no liability for participant accidents or injuries or loss or damage to personal property while they are completing the award.

Refund Policy

If you’re not happy with your Elemental award or you bought it by mistake, we offer a refund within the first 14 days of your purchase. You will receive your refund within 14 days of cancelling. If more than 14 days have passed since you signed up we are unable to refund you.

Late or missing refunds

  • If you have not received your refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company or bank, it may take some time before your refund shows on your statement.

The infrastructure providers maintain industry-standard security certifications, including: ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 and PCI DSS Level 1.

Elemental Challenge Award CIC will keep your personal data for the duration of your participation with an award. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data. You can request your data is deleted at any time.

Marketing

Elemental Challenge Award CIC would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like. If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date. You have the right at any time to stop Our Company from contacting you for marketing purposes.
